Protecting Children
If the child restraint system is not
secure, try installing it in a different
seating position, or use a different
style of child restraint system that
can be firmly secured in the desired
seating position.
For EU countries, refer to page

for the recommended child

Driver and Passenger Safety
3.
Secure the child in the child
restraint system.
Make sure the
child is properly strapped in the
child restraint system according to
the child restraint system maker's
instructions. A child who is not
properly secured in a child
restraint system can be thrown out
of the restraint system in a crash
and be seriously injured.
Storing a Child Restraint System
When you are not using a child
restraint system, either remove it
and store it in a safe place, or make
sure it is properly secured. An
unsecured child restraint system can
be thrown around the car during a
crash or sudden stop and injure
someone.
