Fuses
The fuses for the machine's electrical system are
located under the center of the dash panel (Figure 39
& Figure 40).

Jump Starting the Vehicle
Jump starting can be dangerous. To avoid
personal injury or damage to electrical
components in vehicle, observe the following
warnings:
• Never jump start with a voltage source
greater than 15 volts D.C. This will damage
the electrical system.
• Never attempt to jump start a discharged
battery that is frozen. It could rupture or
explode during jump starting.
• Observe all battery warnings while jump
starting your vehicle.
• Be sure your vehicle is not touching the
jump start vehicle.
• Connecting cables to the wrong post could
result in personal injury and/or damage to
the electrical system.
1. Squeeze the battery cover to release the tabs from
battery base. Remove the battery cover from the
battery base (Figure 41).

2. Connect a jumper cable between the positive posts of
the two batteries (Figure 42). The positive post may
be identified by a + sign on top of the battery cover.
3. Connect one end of the other jumper cable to the
negative terminal of the battery in the other vehicle.
The negative terminal has NEG on the battery
cover. Do not connect the other end of the jumper
