BREAK-IN PERIOD

Engine

A break-in period of 10 operating hours is re-
quired before running the vehicle at sustained
full throttle.
CAUTION: Never mix oil with fuel. This vehi-
cle has a 4-stroke engine. Oil must be added
to engine crankcase only.
During this period, maximum throttle should
not exceed 3/4. However, brief full acceler-
ation and speed variations contribute to a
good break-in. Continued wide open throttle
accelerations, prolonged cruising speeds and
engine overheating are detrimental during the
break-in period.
While reading this Operator's Guide, remember that:
Indicates a potential hazard that, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.

Belt

A new belt requires a break-in period of 50 km
(30 miles). Avoid strong acceleration/decel-
eration, pulling a load or high speed cruising.

10-Hour Inspection

NOTE: The 10-hour inspection is at the ex-
pense of the vehicle owner.
As with any precision piece of mechanical
equipment, we suggest that after the first
10 hours, 300 km (185 mi) or 30 days after the
purchase, whichever comes first, your vehicle
be inspected by an authorized Bombardier
ATV dealer. This inspection will give you the
opportunity to discuss the unanswered ques-
tions you may have encountered during the
first hours of operation.
