GENERAL

While reading this Operator's Guide, remember that:
Indicates a potential hazard that, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.
WARNING
Unless otherwise specified, engine should
not be running for all maintenance proce-
dures.
Before performing any service or inspec-
tion operation on the vehicle, wait until the
engine and exhaust have cooled down to
avoid getting burned.
WARNING
Should removal of a locking device (e.g.
lock tabs, self-locking fasteners, etc.) be
required when undergoing disassem-
bly/assembly, always replace with a new
one.
The following covers the maintenance items
that can be performed by the customer if de-
sired. Other items found in maintenance chart
mu s t b e p erf orm e d by a n a u th or iz ed
Bombardier ATV dealer.
NOTE: Among other things, this section gives
the procedures to replace the liquids. Refer to
LIQUIDS for procedures to check levels and
refill.
