Converting the
Fireplace to
Side Vent

Tuck the two 20" (508mm) pieces of
insulation into the area above the
exhaust manifold and fireplace can.
Note how the insulation is folded in
half and covers the entire area above
the exhaust manifold (see illustration
below).
WARNING: Failure to properly
place the insulation will void the
warranty and create a safety
hazard.

Installation
Re-attach the flue assembly
in the side position.
Re-attach the back plate to the
top of the fireplace.
NOTE: Make sure the flange on
the back plate tucks between the
fireplace and the flue assembly.
