Connecting the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)

Part of the function can be remotely controlled by connecting the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G (optional) via IP connection.
Playback operation is not possible from the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G. Playback can only be performed from the camera.

Setting for connection with the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)

To connect AK-HRP200G via network to set the camera to the remote control mode, configure the settings in the following procedure.

Set each item in [MENU] → [PERIPHERAL] → [LAN PROPERTY] in the camera.
[IP ADDRESS]: Sets the address set at AK-HRP200G.
[DHCP]: Sets to [DISABLE].

Set each item in [MENU] → [PERIPHERAL] → [NETWORK FUNC] → [USER ACCOUNT] in the camera.
[USER NAME]: Sets the user account name. (Factory setting: [guest])
[PASSWORD]: Sets the password. (Factory setting: [p2guest])
Enter up to 31 characters for a user account, and characters between 6 and 15 for a password.

Configure the network settings of AK-HRP200G.
For the network settings, use the ROP setup software application supplied with AK-HRP200G.

Limitation with the remote control

There are following limitations when controlling from the remote operation panel.
r When the [MENU] → [CAMERA SETTINGS] → [Enhanced] → [Enhanced SW] is set to [ON]
f Camera power button <HEAD POWER>: Control is not possible
f Automatic white balance button <WHITE>: Aborting during adjustment is not possible
f Automatic black balance button <BLACK>: Aborting during adjustment is not possible
f Automatic setup button <SETUP>: Not used
f 5600 K button <5600 K>: Not used
f Knee off button <KNEE OFF>: Disabled
f Scene/user file switching button <SHIFT>: Disabled
f Scene/user file selection buttons <SCENE1/USER1> - <SCENE3/USER3>/<SCENE4>: Disabled
f Scene/user file registration button<STORE>: Disabled
f Volume lock button <VR LOCK>: Enabled
f R flare/pedestal volume <FLARE/PED R>: Disabled
f B flare/pedestal volume <FLARE/PED B>: Disabled
f Dataset buttons <UP>/<DOWN>: Enabled
f Adjusted value display area (4 digits): Enabled
f Camera number display area <No.>: Enabled
