Setting the language

Use the following procedure to select the language used locally on your
phone.

Press the 1 key on the dialpad to select the Preferences menu.
Press the 1 key on the dialpad to select the Contrast tool.
Press the up and down arrow keys to adjust the contrast level.
After adjusting the contrast level to your preference, press the
Send key to select the current contrast level. Alternatively, you
can press the context-sensitive Cancel soft key to exit from the
menu without altering the contrast level.
You have completed the procedure.
Action
Press the Services key twice to access the Local tools menu.
Select the next step as follows.
If
your phone displays the Local
tools menu
your phone prompts you to enter
a password
Your phone prompts you for a password because your system
administrator has chosen to establish a password for the Local
tools menu. If you know the password, enter it. If you do not
know the password, you must contact your system administrator
to obtain the password before you can proceed.
Press the 1 key on the dialpad to select the Preferences menu.
Press the 2 key on the dialpad to select the Languages tool.
Press the up and down arrow keys to scroll through a list of
languages.
When the language of your preference is highlighted, press the
Send key to select that language. Alternatively, you can press
the context-sensitive Cancel soft key to exit from the menu
without altering the language.
