primary lead of the cylinder-#4 ignition coil.
Execute the diagnostic
mode. (Code No. 33)
No spark → Replace the
ECU.

page 8-174.

Injector: open or short circuit detected.
Able to start engine (depending on the number of faulty cylinders)
Able to drive vehicle (depending on the number of faulty cylinders)

Actuates injector #1 five times at one-second intervals.
Illuminates the engine trouble warning light.
Check that injector #1 is actuated five times by listening for the op-
erating sound.
Actuates injector #2 five times at one-second intervals.
Illuminates the engine trouble warning light.
Check that injector #2 is actuated five times by listening for the op-
erating sound.
Actuates injector #3 five times at one-second intervals.
Illuminates the engine trouble warning light.
Check that injector #3 is actuated five times by listening for the op-
erating sound.
Actuates injector #4 five times at one-second intervals.
