4. Measure:
• Gap (between the crankshaft position sensor
"1" and pickup rotor "2") "a"
Out of specification → Reinstall or replace.
Gap (between the crankshaft po-
sition sensor and pickup rotor)
0.5 mm (0.02 in)
5. Install:
• Pickup rotor cover gasket
• Pickup rotor cover
Pickup rotor cover bolt
12 Nm (1.2 m·kg, 8.7 ft·lb)
TIP
Tighten the pickup rotor cover bolts in stages
and in a crisscross pattern.
