Fax transmission functions

To configure the settings for functions, select the [Function Menu] key.

Function
Quiet Mode
Lower print and scan speed for quiet processing. Select
this mode when the running noise is uncomfortable.
Original Size
Specify the original size to be scanned.
Original Image
Select original image type.
FAX Resolution
Set the resolution at which to scan originals.
Orig.Orientation
Select the orientation of the original document top edge
to scan correct direction.
Continuous Scan
Scan a large number of originals separately and then
produce as one job.
File Name Entry
Adds a file name.
JobFinish Notice
Send notice by e-mail when a job is complete.
FAX Delayed TX
Specify a time for transmission.
FAX Direct TX
Connect to the destination first and then scan the
original.
FAX RX Polling
This function allows you to start automatic transmission
of a document saved in the sending machine by dialing
from the receiving machine.
FAX TX Report
Print transmission results after transmission.
Density
Adjust density.
Duplex
Automatically scan 2-sided originals.
Function
Manual Send
This method allows you to send originals by pressing
the [Start] key after confirming that the telephone line
has connected to the receiving system.
