Kickstarter Disassembly - Honda 1988 Z50R Service Manual

Place the crankshaft on a stand or V -blocks and measure the
runout using a dial gauge.
The measuring locations are as shown .
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10 mm (0 .004 int
Tum the outer races of the crankshaft bearings with your fingers .
The bearings should t urn smoothly and quietly.
Also check that Ihe inner races of the bearings fit tightly on the
crankshaft.
Check the liming sprocket for wear or damage .
Install the crankshaft into the left crankcase.

Remove the kickstarter.
