• Ignition timing cannot be adjusted since the ignillon control module
(leM)
is non-adjustable. If ignlion timing is incorrect,
check the system and replace the faulty parts.
• For spark plug inspection, refer to page 3-6 .
• For alternator and ignition pulse generator removal, refer to section 9.
• A continuity check can usually be made without removing the parts from motorcycle by simply disconnecting th e wires
and using a con t inuity tester or ohmmeter at the terminals.
