10.2 Adjusting the dead center of the reciprocating movement
Proper setting
At 155°, the driver is at its dead center (movement in counterclockwise di-
rection).

• Upper right cover ( p. 12).
• Tilt the machine head ( p. 10).

Setting steps
1. Loosen the screws (2).
2. Turn the eccentric (1).
3. Tighten the screws (2).
4. Check if the dead center (3) is at 155°; adjust it again if necessary.

Note that a low tightening torque when turning the eccentric pin (1) can
lead to a high tension of the toothed belt.
