USING MS-DOS

Starting MS-DOS
There are two ways to start MS-DOS, depending on
whether your T 3200 is OFF or already running.
If
the power to your T3200
is OFF:
Refer
to
PART
6 OPERATION.
MS-DOS by the following procedure.
You
can
start
(1)
Insert the MS-DOS system disk into drive -A.
(2) Turn the system unit power ON.
(3) Wait
a moment
while
the 1'3200 checks itself
out.
The length of the pause depends on the
amount of memory in your
l'
3200.
Then you will
hear the disk drive clicking and see the "Disk in
Use" LED come ON while MS-DOS is being read
into memory.
(4) The following message appears on the screen.
Toshiba Personal Computer ...
(5)
After MS-DOS has been loaded, a startup message
from MS-DOS appears on the screen.
