DeYiee Error Messages
When you use a command which handles disks, such as
DIR, FOR MAT or PRINT, you might receive a device
error message si milar to the following.
<error type) error
<liD)
<device)
Abort, Retry, Ignore?
Where <error type> is one of the following:
Bad call format
Bad unit
Disk
Non-DOS disk
Read fault
Seek
Write protect
Bad command
Data
No paper
Not ready
Sector not found
Write fault
<I/O> is either "reading" or "writing" and <device> is
the device name in error.
The
Not
ready error message indicates that a disk is
not properly inserted in a drive.
Check to see if the
disk has been correctly inserted into the drive, then
type r
