Direetions
If a problem occurs:
o
When starting the system
(after turning ON the
power and loading an operating system such as
MS-DOS) and before entering a command, follow
the procedures in Section 8.3 Power-on Self -test.
o When entering a command, e.g. when a new
program is run, the problem that occurs here, it
may not be due to the hardware. Therefore,
find out if there is anything new in the way the
computer is being used. Try to run another
program. If one program runs and another does
not, there is probably something wrong in the
program, such as floppy disk format, the program
itself, or specific operations in the program.
If
the problem persists, start at the troubleshooting
Seetion 8.3 Power -on Self -test.
o When a program

something unexpected happens, run another
program.
If one program runs and another does not, the
program is probably faulty. If problems persist,
follow Section 8.3 Power-on Self -test.
By using the Diagnostic Test, problems in the T3200
System Unit, Display, or Printer can be isolated.
