(6) Confirm that the following message appears on the
display screen.
( MEMORY TEST
XXXKB
Does the above message appear .,
Yes Go to step (7) on the next page.
No If you are using the Plasma Display, the system
unit is probably faulty, consult your dealer.
If the symptom relates to a CRT display, turn
OFF the system unit, then check for the
following items.
o Is the display power cord properly connected
to a wall outlet
?
o Is the display power on
?
o Is the Brightness Control knob on the display
turned up
?
o Is the signal cable from the display properly
plugged into the connector at the rear of
the system unit
?
After checking the above items, turn ON the
system unit power again. If the same
symptom occurs, the system unit is probably
faulty, consult your dealer.
