USING MS-DOS

The operation procedure to format a disk is as follows.
(1)
Make sure that your MS-DOS system disk is in
drive -A and prompt
A>
is displayed.
(2) Type
format
IS
and then press the
Enter
key.
Note that the instructions given here assume that
you format the new disk using the T 3200 built-in
FDD with drive
-A
to 720 kilobytes.
(3) You will see the following message on the screen.
Insert new diskette for drive A:
t
and press ENTER key when ready
(4) Remove your MS-DOS system disk from the drive.
(5) Insert the disk to be formatted into drive -A.
(6) Press Enter key on the keyboard.
