Check the paper tube flanges' position, and adjust it if necessary.

Fix the paper tube flange.
Evenly tighten the three screws on the paper tube
flange's external side.

By rotating the take-up roll, confirm that each
of the two paper tube flanges does not swing
right and left.
Load media on the paper tube in outer take-up
mode.
With adhesive tape, hold the media straight at the
center, and then at the rest positions in the direction
from the media center to the media edge.

By pressing the
wind one full turn of the media on the paper
tube.
To rotate the take-up roll
(1) Cover the sensor window by sliding your
hand downward as shown by the arrow of
the left figure. Note that the take-up roll is
rotated only with the sensor's downstroke
shielding.
(2) By keeping the sensor window covered,
the take-up roll rotates for 4 seconds and
stops.
(3) When the take-up roll needs to be rotated
more, repeat the steps (1) and (2).
CAUTION
- Ensure that the media is attached with no slant nor
slack which will cause the slanting feed.
