• Turn on the hazard warning
flashers.
• Turn the ignition on, and then
off.
NOTE:
• Laws in some regions may
restrict the use of remote-
starters.
Check local and national reg-
ulations for any requirements.
• Do not use the remote-start
feature if your vehicle is low
on fuel.
The vehicle could run out of
fuel.
The remote-start feature will not
operate under any of the following
conditions:
• The key is in the ignition.
• The vehicle's hood is open.
• The Malfunction Indicator
Light is on.
• The engine coolant tempera-
ture is too high.
• The engine oil pressure is low.
Your vehicle comes with this
feature enabled.
Use the Driver Information Center
to enable or disable this feature.
See "Feature Customization"
under "Driver Information Center"
in Section 1.

CAUTION
Do not leave children in the
vehicle with the ignition key.
They could operate the power
windows or other controls and
could even make the vehicle
move. A child or others could
be injured or even killed.
Children can be seriously
injured or killed if caught in the
path of a closing window.
Do not leave children
unattended in the vehicle.
