The label is typically affixed to your
vehicle at one of the following
locations:
• the rear pillar of the driver's
REAR
door frame
• the rear edge of the driver's
door
It also tells how many people can
ride in your vehicle and gives you
the Vehicle Capacity Weight.
Do not exceed the maximum
vehicle capacity when loading
your vehicle.
See "Certification/Tire Label"
for additional tire and loading
information.
Certification/Tire Label
This label, located on the rear
edge of the driver's door, shows
the size of your original tires and
the inflation pressures needed to
obtain your vehicle's Gross Vehicle
Weight Rating.
The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is
the maximum permissible loaded
weight of the vehicle. It includes
the weight of the vehicle, all
occupants, fuel and cargo, as well
as the weight of the trailer tongue
if you are pulling a trailer.
Using heavier suspension
components for extra durability
might not change your weight
rating. Ask your dealer to help you
load your vehicle the right way.
