MODIFICATIONS
Adding non-GM accessories to
your vehicle can affect your
vehicle's performance and safety.
Your vehicle is equipped with an
air bag system. Before adding
accessories to your vehicle, see "Air
Bag System" in Section 2 for infor-
mation on the air bag system.
Modifications may cause problems
or damage to vehicle systems such
as air bags, braking, stability,
ride and handling, emissions,
aerodynamics, durability, and
electronic systems like antilock
brakes, traction control and
stability control.
Damage to vehicle components
resulting from the installation or
use of non-GM certified parts,
including control module modifi-
cations, is not covered by the vehi-
cle warranty and may affect
remaining warranty coverage for
affected parts.
Adding equipment to the outside
of your vehicle may increase wind
noise and can affect your vehicle's
fuel economy and windshield
washer performance.
