Trailer Brakes

Trailer brakes of adequate size are
required on trailers of more than
900 kilograms loaded weight.
Read and follow all instructions
that come with the trailer brakes.
Your vehicle is equipped with the
®
Stabilitrak System. Do not tap
into the vehicle's hydraulic brake
system when installing trailer
brakes.
CAUTION
Do not tap into the vehicle's
hydraulic brake system. Other-
wise, your vehicle's brake
systems may not work well. You
could even lose your brakes.
You or others could be injured
or killed.

Trailer Turn Signals

When towing a trailer, the arrows
on your instrument cluster will
flash for turns even if the bulbs on
the trailer are burned out. You may
think drivers behind you are seeing
your signal, when actually they are
not. It is important that you check
occasionally to be sure that the
trailer bulbs are still working.
