10 Configure the basic settings of the camera [Basic]
[Remaining capacity notification]
When the E-mail notification function or the Panasonic alarm protocol function is used to provide notification
of the remaining capacity of the SD memory card, select a level to be notified at from the following.
50%/ 20%/ 10%/ 5%/ 2%
Default: 50%
Note
Notification will be provided each time the remaining capacity of the SD memory card reached the
values above.
For example, notification will be provided each time the remaining capacity reaches 50%, 20%, 10%,
5% and 2% when "50%" is selected. Notification may not always be made at the very moment when
the remaining capacity of the SD memory card has reached each value.
When "Use" is selected for SD memory 1 and SD memory 2 and "Single recording" is selected for
"Recording mode", the combined remain capacity of both SD memory 1 and SD memory 2 will be
notified.
When "Use" is selected for SD memory 1 and SD memory 2 and "Dual recording" is selected for
"Recording mode", the remaining capacity of the SD memory card with the smaller capacity will be
notified.
[Overwrite]
Determine whether or not to overwrite when the remaining capacity of the SD memory card becomes
insufficient.
On: Overwrites when the remaining capacity of the SD memory card becomes insufficient. (The oldest
image is the first to be overwritten.)
Off: Stops saving images on the SD memory card when the SD memory card becomes full.
Default: Off
Recording stream 1/Recording stream 2
[Recording format]
Select the type of image data to be recorded on the SD memory card.
"Off" can only be selected for the "Recording format" of "Recording stream 2".
"JPEG(1)", "JPEG(2)", and "JPEG(3)" can only be selected for the "Recording format" of "Recording stream
1".
Off: Does not record data.
JPEG(1): Records still image data (JPEG(1)). The data is recorded in accordance with the settings of
"JPEG(1)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
JPEG(2): Records still image data (JPEG(2)). The data is recorded in accordance with the settings of
"JPEG(2)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
JPEG(3): Records still image data (JPEG(3)). The data is recorded in accordance with the settings of
"JPEG(3)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
H.264(1): Records video data (H.264(1)) in the MP4 video encoding format. The data is recorded in
accordance with the settings of "H.264(1)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
H.264(2): Records video data (H.264(2)) in the MP4 video encoding format. The data is recorded in
accordance with the settings of "H.264(2)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
H.264(3): Records video data (H.264(3)) in the MP4 video encoding format. The data is recorded in
accordance with the settings of "H.264(3)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
H.264(4): Records video data (H.264(4)) in the MP4 video encoding format. The data is recorded in
accordance with the settings of "H.264(4)" on the [JPEG/H.264] tab of the "Image/Audio" page.
Default:
Recording stream 1: JPEG(2)
Recording stream 2: Off
