This command displays summary information about IP configuration settings for all ports in the router.
Format
show ip interface brief
Modes
Privileged EXEC
User EXEC
enable or disable. This value was configured into the unit.
Displays whether Routing Configuration is enabled or disabled on the system.
Displays whether the Interface Configuration is enabled or disabled on the system.
Displays whether forwarding of network-directed broadcasts is enabled or disabled.
This value was configured into the unit.
Displays whether Proxy ARP is enabled or disabled on the system.
Displays whether Local Proxy ARP is enabled or disabled on the interface.
Displays whether the interface is active or inactive. An interface is considered active if its
link is up and it is in forwarding state.
Is an integer representing the physical link data rate of the specified interface. This is
measured in Megabits per second (Mbps).
Is the burned in physical address of the specified interface. The format is 6 two-digit
hexadecimal numbers that are separated by colons
Is the encapsulation type for the specified interface.
The types are: Ethernet or SNAP.
Displays the maximum transmission unit (MTU) size of a frame, in bytes.
