Coil and radiant ranges with convection

1. Place oven rack on the rack position suggested in the chart. (See page 34.)
Distancefrom broilingelement depends on foodsbeing prepared. Rack posLtion
4 is usuallyrecommendedunless otherwisestated.
2. Touch Broil Pad.
IndicatorWord BROIL will flash and Displaywill show three dashes.
Note: If more than fifteen seconds elapses between touching Broil Pad and
touchingUp or Down Arrow Pad(s), the oven is not set and Displaywill returnto
previousDisplay.
3. Touch Up or Down Arrow Pad(s).
The first touchof an Arrow Pad will enter "HI" in the Display.The oven has a
variablebroilfeaturewhichmeansthata lowertemperature can beselected. Touch
Down Arrow Pad if a lowertemperatureis desired, (The firsttouchofDown Arrow
Pad willenter 450°.) Temperaturecan be enteredin 5° Increments.Range is "HI"
(550°). 50(P to 300°.
Use "HI" broilformostbroiloperations.Use variablebroilfor delicateand long-term
items.
Four secondsafter entering"HI" or enteringa temperature,the broil elementwill
come on and the IndicatorWords BROIL and ON will remain in the Displayalong
withthe selected Broiltemperature, if the variablebroilfeature was selected,the
IndicatorWord ON will cycle with the element.
Example: If at 10 o'clockyou set the oven for broil ("HI"), the Displaywill show:

4. Place food on broiler pan providedwith oven. Broil element will preheatin 2 to 3
minutes. After broilelement is red, place food in oven, Oven door MUST be left
open at broil ston position.
5. Touch Cancel Off Pad to turn off oven when food is cooked.
To change Broil temperature: Repeat steps above.
