glass-ceramiccooktopfor the first time, and pedodically as needed, clean the
bottomswith scouringpads or othercleansers. Rinseand dry thoroughly.
• Make it a practice to wipecooktopsurface witha clean damp cloth or paper towel
before eachuse; drythoroughly.Invisible spatters,dustspecks,cleansersorwater
can cause stainsthat appear after unit is heated. A spongeor dishclothwhich is
notclean willleave film and soil ladendetergentwater whichmay cause stainson
surface after area is heated.
• When frying, use a spatter shieldto reduce spattering.
