OPERATION
Before starting the engine, check or set the following
points:
1.
Check that the cylinder and landroll drive
clutches are disengaged and the brake is
applied.
2.
Turn the fuel tap E 'on' by positioning the
lever vertically downwards.
3.
Move the choke control lever (A) to the
right for cold starting.
NOTE:DO NOT use choke control if engine is still
warm.
4.
Ensure starter switch is turned to first
position. This only applies if using recoil
starter to start engine.
5.
Allow engine to warm up sufficiently
before returning choke to its running
position.

STOPPING THE MACHINE

1.
Release the OPC and apply the
brake.This is equally important when
moving forward or when reversing.
2.
Set the drive clutch lever (B) into the
neutral (N) position.
3.
Set the cutting clutch lever (C) into the
disengaged position.
4.
Turn the starter switch (D) to the 'off'
position to stop the engine.

STOPPING THE ENGINE

1.
Turn starter switch (C) to the 'off' position
and the engine will stop.
