8 MAINTENANCE &
LUBRICATION
8.2.2 MACHINE
DAILY (EVERY 10 WORKING HOURS)
LUBRICATE THE FOLLOWING WITH ENGINE OIL:
Cutting cylinder bearings (A).
Front rolls, or side rolls, where fitted (B).
Landroll bearing housings (C).
Outer landrolls on 91cm (36in) machine.

8.2.3 APPLY CHAIN LUBRICANT

Cutting cylinder drive chain (B)

8.2.4 APPLY ENGINE OIL

Bearings for pivot levers
NOTE: Safety guard has to be removed to gain
access to the lubricating nipple.
In addition to the above, lubricate all linkages, pivots
and lever fulcrums etc.

Contact with engine oil can damage your skin.
Use gloves when working with engine oil. If you
come in contact with engine oil, wash it off
immediately.
Dispose of used engine oil in accordance with
local regulations
