3-2-4. Powered USB Interface Cable
(1) Turn the power switch off.
(2) Pull the AC Adapter power cord plug from the outlet and then pull the
plug from the power connector on the printer side.
CAUTION
If connecting a Powered USB cable, do not connect the AC adapter because this can cause a
malfunction.
(3) Affix the ferrite core onto the cable as shown in the illustration.
Option: POWERED USB CABLE 1X8LNL 1.2M
(4) Pass the fastener through the ferrite core.
(5) Loop the fastener around the Powered USB interface cable and lock it.
Use scissors to cut off any excess.

(6) Connect the interface cable to the connector on the rear panel of the printer.
