Remove the adhesive tape.

Turn the green lever clockwise.

Slowly pull out the four pieces of
tape coming out of the develop-
ment unit, in a horizontal direc-
tion.
Important
❒ Be sure to pull out all four piec-
es of tape to avoid printer mal-
function during operation.
❒ The removed tape is dirty. Be
careful not to let it touch your
hands or clothes.

Remove the securing pin, as
shown, from the transfer unit.
Pinch it, and then pull it out.

Close the front cover slowly by
pushing the two areas on the left
and right.

Put labels "1" and "2" on the front
of the paper trays.
