7.1 Setting up the MFP
This section shows the steps to set up the MFP.
1. Installation environment
• This machine must be installed to optimize the performance in proper place.
• Keep the following tips.
- Be sure to have enough space around the machine.
- The area should be well-ventilated and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not set the machine close to the edge of your desk or table.
- A horizontal plane must be within 5 mm (0.02 inches) both from front to rear and from right to left.
