2) Vertical White Line
Description : White vertical voids in the image.
Check where vertical white line is located.
Foreign matter stuck onto
the window of internal
lenses of LSU mirror.
Foreign matter or toner
particles between the
magnetic roller and doctor
It may occur when Burr
and foreign substances
are on the window of
the Imaging unit
If the fuser is defective,
voids occur periodically at
the top of a black image.
If the problems are not solved,
replace the Imaging unit.

Clean the LSU window with
recommended cleaner(IPA)
Clean the window with a
clean cotton swab.
Replace the Imaging unit
and try again to print out.
Remove the foreign matter
and burr of the exposure
window. (the Imaging unit)
Open the right cover and
check ribs that corresponds
to the position of the voids.
Remove if found.
