Symptoms
The unit does not power
on when you press the
On/Standby button.
The On/Standby button is
blinking orange.

Shooting

Symptoms
The camera output picture
is not output.
The camera output picture
is distorted or does not
display properly.

Other troubles

Symptoms
Button operations on the
front panel have no effect.

Troubleshooting
Cause
No DC power is being connected.
A power overload may have
occurred.
Cause
The camera head is not firmly
connected to the CCU.
The setting of "Country" in the
OTHERS menu differs from the
setting of your video monitor.
The camera head is not firmly
connected to the CCU.
Cause
The LOCK button is turned on.
The unit is being controlled from a
computer connected to the REMOTE
connector.
Remedy
Use a DC power cable to connect to a DC power
source.
Disconnect the DC power cable, and check the
camera cable and connections to other devices.
Remedy
Check the camera head connection.
Correct the setting of "Country" (see page 41) in the
OTHERS menu.
Disconnect the DC power cable, and check the
connections.
Remedy
Turn the LOCK button off.
Cancel control from the computer or disconnect the
REMOTE connector, and then restart this unit.
