Shooting

When the unit starts, the camera output picture
being shot on this unit is output from the video
output connectors (VIDEO OUT, and HD SDI
OUT A, B connectors) on the CCU rear panel.

White balance adjustment section
Viewing the camera output picture
Connect a video monitor to one of the video
output connectors.
See "Connecting Video Monitors" (page 19) for
details.
Adjusting the camera output picture
You can automatically adjust the white balance
and the brightness.
To automatically adjust the white balance
Select ATW with the WHITE BAL button.
The white balance will be automatically adjusted.
For manual adjustment, see "Adjusting the White
Balance" (page 27).
To automatically adjust the brightness
Press the AE button, lighting it.
The brightness will be automatically adjusted by
AGC (auto gain control) and Auto Shutter setting.
For manual adjustment, turn the AE function off. For
details, see "Adjusting the Brightness" (page 29).

Shooting
You can use a registered picture profile to adjust
the camera output picture.
For details, see "Picture Profiles" (page 32).
Switching the camera output picture
You can press the CAMERA SEL button to
switch between output pictures from camera A
and camera B for the VIDEO OUT signal. When
BOTH is selected, output pictures from camera A
are displayed.
Note
The camera heads are adjusted to prescribed
conditions before shipping. However, depending
on the optical and temperature conditions, there
may be some variation. Be sure to perform
adjustments according to your operating
environment before use.
