The Sabbath Mode sets theoven toremain o ninaBake setting
until t urned off. A Timed Bake canalso besettokeep theoven on
foronly part o ftheSabbath. The Oven C ontrol Lockout Feature (if
present) will b edisabled during t heSabbath Mode. After t he
Sabbath M ode issetnotones will s ound, thedisplay w ill n otshow
thetemperature, theKitchen Timer Mode will b ecanceled (ifactive)
andonly thefollowing pads will f unction:
• "+"or"-"keypads
• Cancel
When t heoven door i sopened o rclosed, theoven light w ill n otturn
onoroffand theheating elements will n otturnonoroff
immediately.
When power isrestored after a power failure, theoven will r eturn to
Sabbath M ode and remain S abbath compliant withthebake
elements offuntil t heCancel keypad i spressed.
Pressing theCancel keypad a tany time returns theoven tothe
normal cooking m ode (not S abbath Mode compliant).
Before e ntering theSabbath Mode, itmust b edecided i ftheoven
light i stobeonorofffortheentire Sabbath Mode period. Ifthe
light i sonwhen entering Sabbath Mode, itwill r emain o nforthe
entire time Sabbath Mode isinuse. I fthelight i soffwhen entering
Sabbath Mode, itwill r emain o fffortheentire t ime Sabbath Mode is
inuse. O pening theoven door o rpressing theOven L ight k eypad
willnotaffect theoven light o nce Sabbath Mode has been entered.
Iftheoven has theConvection Bake feature, theoven light i s
controlled byaseparate Oven Light switch ontheconsole. Ifthe
oven light i sonwhen entering theSabbath M ode, itwillremain o n
fortheentire t ime Sabbath Mode isinuse. F or t heoven light t obe
offduring t heSabbath Mode, thelight b ulb must b eremoved from
theoven prior t oentering theSabbath Mode. Notperforming these
steps willcause t heoven light t oturn onwhen theoven door i s
opened, resulting intheoven being notSabbath compliant.
OntheHoliday, theoven temperature canbechanged once the
oven isinSabbath Mode bypressing the"+"or"-" keypads. The
oven temperature will c hange 25°F (14°C) each time thekeypad i s
pressed. The display w ill n otchange, and there will b enosounds
during thisadjustment.
To Bake Using Sabbath Mode:

Press and hold the TIMER keypad for 5 seconds. "SAb" will
flash in the display.
5. Press START within 5 seconds to enter Sabbath Mode;
otherwise, the entire cycle cancels out. "SAb" will stop flashing
and remain on in the display. The oven is now in Sabbath Mode
and is Sabbath compliant.
Pressing the Cancel keypad at any time returns the oven to the
normal cooking mode (not Sabbath Mode compliant).
To set a Timed Bake using Sabbath Mode
(on some models):
Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour before
or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness.

Press the "+" or "-" keypads to enter a temperature other than
the one displayed.
Press COOK TIME. The Cook Time oven indicator light will light
up.
Press the "+" or "-" keypads to enter a cook time length.
Press START.
Press and hold the TIMER keypad for 5 seconds. "SAb" will
flash in the display.
7. Press START within 5 seconds to enter Sabbath Mode;
otherwise, the entire cycle cancels out. "SAb" will stop flashing
and remain on in the display. The oven is now in Sabbath Mode
and is Sabbath compliant. The Bake, On and Cook Time
indicator lights will be displayed.
When the set cook time ends, the oven will shut off automatically
and the indicator lights will turn off, indicating the end of the cycle.
Pressing the Cancel keypad at any time returns the oven to the
normal cooking mode (not Sabbath Mode compliant).
To set a Delayed Timed Bake using Sabbath Mode
(on some models):

3. Press COOK TIME. The Cook Time oven indicator light will light
up.
4. Press the "+" or "-" keypads to enter a cook time length.
5. Press START TIME or DELAY START. The Start Time/Delay
Start indicator light will light up.
Press the "+" or "-" keypads to enter a start time.
Press START.
Press and hold the TIMER keypad for 5 seconds. "SAb" will
flash in the display.
9. Press START within 5 seconds to enter Sabbath Mode;
otherwise, the entire cycle cancels out. "SAb" will stop flashing
and remain on in the display. The oven is now in Sabbath Mode
and is Sabbath compliant. The On and Delay indicator lights
will be displayed.
When the start time is reached the Bake, On and Cook Time
indicator lights will automatically turn on. When the set cook time
ends, the oven will shut off automatically and the indicator lights
will turn off, indicating the end of the cycle.
Pressing the Cancel keypad at any time returns the oven to the
normal cooking mode (not Sabbath Mode compliant).
IMPORTANT: To avoid permanent damage to the oven bottom For best cooking results, do not cover entire oven rack with foil
finish, do not line the oven bottom with any type of foil or liner, because air must be able to move freely.
