Power

Use the Power tab to control the state of the radio when the mobile computer is in suspend state.

The settings on the Power tab do not turn radio power on and off. These
settings take effect ONLY when the mobile computer suspends. Turn radio
power on and off from the Radio Power Settings window (see
1. Tap Start - Settings - Personal tab - Phone icon - Power tab.
or
Start - Phone - Tools - Options - Power tab.
2. Select radio buttons in the No Change and OFF columns, as required, to control the radio
power state when the mobile computer is in suspend state.
a. Select a No Change radio button to maintain the radio power state that was in effect
prior to the mobile computer suspend. For example, if the radio is on and the user calls
an API to suspend the mobile computer, the radio power remains on when the mobile
computer suspends.
