Warping workflow
1.
Select a preset that fits your needs. See Preset: in Warping controls (p.182).
2.
Disable Perspective Correction if it is not needed, for example, if you
are using warping only to correct some content inaccuracies.
3.
Create new points if needed with the right click menu or by using the
Ctrl+click shortcut.
A point cannot be created alone; it must be part of a row, a column, or
both. If a row or column already exists for a specific location, create
only the missing axis to avoid duplicate points.
4.
Select points by clicking on them or dragging a selection box.
Selected points are shown in blue and display the tangent manipulators,
unselected points are shown in white. In perspective mode, corners
cannot be multi-selected. Points can be added to the selection using
the Shift key.
5.
Move selected points with the mouse or arrow keys.
Selected points' manipulators can be moved to drag tangents. Lock and
symmetry options for the selected points' tangents can be set with icons
in the Selection section of the Calibration pane. See Tangent Lock: and
Tangent Symmetry: in Warping controls (p.182).
6.
Set the positions manually, in pixels, for a single selected point and its
tangent in the Selected Point section of the Calibration pane.
7.
Move the points and tangents until the projected image fits accurately.
8.
Delete a selected point by pressing the Del key or using the right-click
menu.
As with point creation, a point cannot be deleted alone. A point must
be deleted with its row, its column, or both.
