    8.1 EMB In- dustry Pro and must be at least version 01.06.00. Verify that the Barco Media Server is loaded with the latest Windows image available on the Barco website. Refer to Restore (p.37) for more information about upgrading the Barco Media Server Windows image.

    2.2.2 Unpacking At delivery the Barco Media Server is packed in a cardboard box. Place the box on a stable (solid), flat, and insulated support during all the unpacking. Open the box from the top. Remove the Barco Media Server from its antistatic bag. Check the box content.

    XHD-200 servers do not have video capture or genlock ports. XHD-400 Connect up to four outputs through the DisplayPort ports on the video output card. If necessary, use the active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapters provided by Barco. XHD-402 Connect up to four outputs through the DisplayPort ports on the video output card.

    If the system is powered off any time after it has been initially powered on, you can power on the system again using the power switch on the front panel. If the Barco Media Server does not start, ensure that the master power switch on the rear panel is ON.

    The CodeMeter Control Center runtime application must run on each machine on which Barco Media Server software is expected to run. CodeMeter Control Center is the local management tool for hardware and software licenses, and it also plays a crucial part in updating licenses remotely.

    Send the resulting .WibuCmRac file to Barco. Shutdown and restart The Barco Media Server can be shut down and restarted from Windows or by means of the hardware power switches on the front and rear panels of the Barco Media Server box. Note X-Agora always opens with the most recently saved data.

    The System Restore menu takes a few minutes to load. During this time, a number of small windows appear and disappear.     Plug the USB Recovery drive into one of the external USB 3.0 ports on the Barco Media Server. The Barco USB Recovery drive is a USB 3.0 device; you may reduce recovery time by using this drive in a USB 3.0 port.

    Allow a few minutes for the Barco Media Server to reconfigure. 2.9.3 Clearing CMOS If the Barco Media Server hangs or fails to boot after any change to the BIOS settings, press the clear CMOS button to clear the CMOS and reset the motherboard to its default value.

    Barco Media Server XHD-Series User Guide Section 4: Software The X-Agora architecture The X-Agora system operates according to a client-server architecture to allow maximum scalability. A typical X-Agora deployment comprises a Controller PC and multiple Player PCs, connected together as the X-Agora network. The Controller PC runs the X- Agora Server application that manages and coordinates the Player PC clients (all of which run the X-Agora Player and X-Agora Agent applications).
