Timeline properties

You can show the properties of a Timeline either by clicking on the Timeline tab in the
Timeline pane, or by selecting the Timeline in the Timelines pane.

Displays the name of a Timeline.
The Timeline can be renamed, and any action paramet-
er using this timeline (for example, the Play Timeline
action) is also updated.
Displays the duration of a Timeline.
Extend the duration of a Timeline, in case you need
to fit more media inside it. The default value is five
minutes.
Displays the number of frames per second for the
Timeline.
Note that changing FPS may affect the positioning of
existing elements inside the Timeline. It is recommen-
ded you set the FPS before populating the Timeline.
Displays the Timecode.
Choose Internal to use an internal clock to synchronize
all the players. Choose SMPTE to control the Timeline
by using an SMPTE signal. See SMPTE configuration
(p.110) for more details.
Displays the SMPTE offset.
This property applies a positive or negative offset to
the received SMPTE Timecode. If the SMPTE offset
