9. Aftercare
The PV1D cabinet surfaces will usually only require
dusting. We recommend you use the cloth supplied
with the product. If you wish to use an aerosol or other
cleaner, apply the cleaner onto the cloth, not directly
onto the product and test a small area first, as some
cleaning products may damage some of the surfaces.
Avoid products that are abrasive, or contain acid, alkali
or anti-bacterial agents. Do not use cleaning agents
on the drive units. Avoid touching the drive units as
damage may result.
10. Storing current settings
To guard against unwanted or accidental
changes to settings or if they become otherwise
corrupted, there are two methods of recovery.
If you are using SubApp™, the current settings may
be saved into an XML file for later recovery and re-
programming of the PV1D. Alternatively they may be
stored in an additional internal memory area of the
PV1D using the following procedure:
i.
With the PV1D in Standby mode (Standby
indicator is red), press and hold the logo on/
standby button until the indicator flashes (after
approximately 5 seconds). The navigation buttons
will also light up. Release the button.
ii.
Press and hold the
button until the indicator
flashes. Release the button.
iii.
Press and hold the
button until the indicator
flashes. Release the button.
iv.
The indicator will switch to white while the
PV1D settings are stored and switch to red
(normal Standby mode) again when the process
is complete.
Note: Due to memory limitations, this button
sequence will not save Presets 3 - 5. All preset
information may be saved using the XML file
method.
