HINTS FOR USING THE RENOVATOR
• Avoid using The Renovator for prolonged periods, especially
whilst a very low speed is set. If The Renovator becomes too
hot, switch The Renovator off. This should cool the motor.
• Always keep the blades sharp.
• Ensure the work piece is secured firmly or clamped to prevent
movement.
• Even slight movement of the material can affect the finish of the
cutting or sanding.
• Start and stop The Renovator whilst clear of the work piece.
• Remember to fit a sanding sheet before starting to sand.
• Do not allow the sandpaper to wear right through, it will damage
the delta sanding pad. Our guarantee does not cover sanding
pad wear and tear.
• When sanding rough surfaces use a coarse grit, medium grit for
smooth surfaces and fine grit for the finishing surfaces. Use a
scrap piece of material to test for the correct sanding coarseness
you need if you are in doubt.
• Excessive pressure will reduce the performance of The
Renovator and may cause the motor to overload.
• Replacing the attachment tools regularly will maintain optimum
performance.
