Rules
1. Always wear eye protection.
2. Never operate The Renovator in wet conditions.
3. During extended periods of use wear ear protection.
4. If operating in a dusty environment wear a dust mask.
5. Check and remove nails, screws and any other metal
object from timber before sanding.
6. Always inspect walls and ceilings to avoid possible hidden
power cables and pipes.
7. Use clamps or other suitable clamping devices to secure
the work piece firmly to the surface.
8. Only use attachments supplied with The Renovator.
9. Do not use broken, torn or worn accessories and
attachments. Only use attachments that are in a good
working condition.
10. Inspect power cords and plugs before using The
Renovator. If any damage is apparent have it repaired first.
Always make sure that the cord is located in a safe area.
11. Never abuse the power cord and keep it clear from heat
sources, liquids, sharp objects and moving parts at all times.
Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging The
Renovator. Immediately replace damaged cords.
12. Always start The Renovator in a clear space and let it
reach optimal speed before moving into the work piece.
13. Before replacing attachments unplug the power cord.
14. Do not 'jam' the E-cut saw blades or use excessive force.
Never make an overly excessive deep cut.
15. Keep your hands clear of the work area and always cut
away from yourself and other people.
16. Always hold The Renovator by the insulated grip when
cutting where hidden wiring may exist or where the power
cords may lie.
Electric shock may result when metal parts of The Renovator
make contact with 'live' wires.
17. This Safety and Operating Manual and other enclosed
safety information should be kept safe with The Renovator.
Refer to them regularly and use them to instruct others who
may use or borrow The Renovator. The manual and other
instructions should be passed on to the new owner if The
Renovator is sold.
