Whilst working with The Renovator vibration may occur

to your hands and arms. To reduce the effects of vibration
use the proper work practices. (See Operating Tips on page
14 for more information).
CAUTION:
Do not let yourself get careless as you become familiar

with The Renovator. A moment of carelessness can cause
severe injury.
WARNING!
Some dust created by The Renovator from sanding,
WARNING
sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities
on certain materials may contain chemicals known to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
a) Lead from lead-based paint;
b) Crystalline silica from bricks, cement and other masonry
products;
c) Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated timber.
Depending on how often you do this type of work your risk of
exposure to these chemicals will vary. To reduce the risk of
exposure to these chemicals:
a) Always work in a well ventilated area;
b) Use dust masks specifically designed to filter
microscopic particles as well as other approved safety
equipment;
c) Use The Renovator's vacuum attachment with an
approved filtering system to help catch dust from dispersing
into the air.
Avoid long periods of exposure to dust from sanding,
sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities.
Wear protective clothing and wash exposed areas with soap
and water.
Do not allow dust to get into your mouth, eyes, or lay on
exposed skin. This may promote the absorption of harmful
chemicals.
Use of The Renovator on certain materials can generate
and/or disperse dust which may cause serious and
