LOW GLUCOSE ALARM

The Dexcom G4 PLATINUM System also has a fixed low alarm set at 3.1
mmol/L. This alarm is a feature in addition to your personal low and high
glucose alerts. You cannot change or turn off this alarm or its re-alarm settings.
• For the low glucose alarm the receiver will display
the screen to the right.
• Re-alarm: The receiver will automatically notify you
again in 30 minutes after you press the
button to clear it, if your sensor glucose readings are
still at or below 3.1 mmol/L.
HELPFUL HINT:
• Your receiver will not alert you if you have calibrated in the last 5 minutes
and received a sensor glucose reading outside your target range. The
receiver will alert you if your sensor glucose reading remains outside
your target range after five minutes.
