GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS "TWO YEAR" LiMiTED WARRANTY FOR
iX SERIES PORTABLE GENERATORS
For a period of two years from the date of original sale, GeneracPower Systems, Inc. (Generac)warrants its iX Seriesgeneratorswill be free from defects
in materials and workmanship for the items and period set forth below. Generacwill, at its discretion, repair or replaceany part that, upon examination,
inspection and testing by Generacor a GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Dealer,is found to be defective.Any equipmentthat the purchaser/owner
claims to be defective must be returnedto andexamined by the nearest GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Dealer.All transportation costs underthe
warranty, including return to the factory, are to be borne and prepaid by the purchaser/owner.This warranty appliesonly to GeneraciX Series portable
generatorsand is not transferablefrom original purchaser.Saveyour proof-of-purchase receipt. If you do not provideproof of the initial purchase date,
the manufacturer's shipping date of the product will be used to determinethe warranty period.
WARRANTY SCHEDULE
Consumerapplications are warrantedfor two (2) years. Commercial and Rental applicationsare warrantedfor six (6) months.

NOTE: For the purpose of this warranty "consumer use" means personal residentialhousehold or recreational use by original purchaser.This warranty
does not apply to units used for Prime Powerin place of utility where utility power service is presentor where utility power service does not
normally exist. Once a generatorhas experiencedcommercial or rental use, it shallthereafter be considered a non-consumer use generatorfor
the purpose of this warranty.
All warranty expenseallowances are subject to the conditions definedin Generac'sService Policy Manual.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Generacportable generatorsthat utilize non-Generacreplacementparts.
• Costs of normal maintenanceand adjustments.
• Failurescaused by any contaminatedfuels, oils or lack of proper oil levels.
• Repairsor diagnostics performed by individualsotherthan Guardian/Generac authorizeddealersnot authorizedin writing by GeneracPowerSystems.
• Failuresdue, but not limited, to normal wear andtear, accident, misuse, abuse, negligenceor improperuse. As with all mechanicaldevices,the Generac
enginesneed periodic part(s) service and replacementto perform as designed.This warranty will not cover repairwhen normal use has exhaustedthe
life of a part(s) or engine.
• Failurescaused by any act of God andother force majeureevents beyondthe manufacturer'scontrol.
• Damagerelatedto rodent and/or insect infestation.
• Productsthat are modified or alteredin a manner not authorizedby Generacin writing.
• Any incidental, consequentialor indirect damages causedby defects in materials or workmanship, or any delay in repair or replacementof the defective
part(s).
• Failuredueto misapplication.
• Telephone,cellularphone,facsimile, internetaccess or othercommunication expenses.
• Living or travel expensesof person(s) performing service, exceptas specifically includedwithin the terms of a specific unit warranty period.
• Expensesrelatedto "customer instruction" or troubleshootingwhere no manufacturing defect is found.
• Rentalequipmentused while warranty repairs arebeing performed.
• Overnightfreight or special shipping costs for replacementpart(s).
• Overtime,holiday or emergencylabor.
• Starting batteries,fuses, light bulbs and enginefluids.
THISWARRANTYIS IN PLACEOFALL OTHERWARRANTIES, E XPRESSED OR IMPLIED,SPECIFICALLY, GENERAC POWERSYSTEMSMAKESNO OTHER
WARRANTIES AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY O R FITNESS FORA PARTICULAR PURPOSE. A ny implied warranties which are allowed by law,shall be
limited in duration to the terms of the expresswarranty providedherein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitation may not apply to purchaser/owner.
