The National Electric Code (NEC) requires the frame and external electrically conductive parts of the generator be properly connected to an approved earth ground. Proper grounding of the generator will prevent electrical shock in the event of a ground fault condition in the generator or in connected electrical devices. -

Section 2 – Operation Portable Generator System USING THE FLEXPOWER™ SWITCH Figure 7 - Turn Off Fuel When the accessories connected to the generator are going to be used intermittently (such as a hand drill), the FlexPower™ switch can be pushed to the “ON” (I) position. This will lower the TURNING THE FUEL OFF generator engine speed when loads are not being applied, saving fuel, reducing engine wear and extending runtime. -

(Generac) warrants its iX Series generators will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the items and period set forth below. Generac will, at its option, repair or replace any part which, upon examination, inspection and testing by Generac or a Generac Authorized Warranty Service Dealer, is found to be defective.
