Meaning
Abstract display of a layout showing only the distribution and size of its zones. The color of each zone
indicates the media it is enabled to play.
The media and settings for a layout bundled in a ZIP file for distribution to other players.
A component of the Black Box Digital Signage Platform. Manager is the generic term for the appliance
that manages the digital signage network. Specifically, the manager is the Black Box iCOMPEL
Deployment Manager.
General term for the content the player displays (such as text, images, video, and newsfeeds).
Reports indicating which media items played on the player, when, and for how long.

playlists to ensure synchronization between them.
