2.2.7 OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET Operation
OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET Operation
OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation lowers the noise level of the
outdoor unit by changing the frequency and fan speed on the
outdoor unit. This function is convenient during night.
To start OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET
operation
1. Press
• " " is displayed on the LCD.
To cancel OUTDOOR UNIT

QUIET operation

2. Press
• " " disappears from the LCD.
NOTE
Notes on OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation
• If using a multi system, the OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation will work only when this
function is set on all operated indoor units.
• This function is available in COOL, HEAT, and AUTO operation.
(This is not available in FAN and DRY operation.)
• POWERFUL operation and OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation cannot be used at the
same time.
Priority is given to the function of whichever button is pressed last.
• Even the operation is stopped using the remote controller or the indoor unit ON/OFF switch
when using OUTDOOR UNIT QUIET operation, "
