Route summary

The screen has two areas:
– the journey area 4 where a route
summary is displayed;
– depending on the vehicle, the tab
area 3 displays the various calcu-
lation methods: "Fastest", "Most eco-
nomical" and "Shortest".
Choose the desired calculation method
by selecting the corresponding tab,
then press "Go" at the bottom of the
screen to confirm and begin guidance.
Note: press one of the tabs to view its
content.

Press 5 before the end of the ten
second period to access the following
menus:
– "Route Alternatives" (depending on
the vehicle);
– "Itinerary";
– "Route";
– "Add route to address book".
For safety reasons, carry
out these operations when
the vehicle is stationary.
"Route Alternatives"
(depending on the vehicle)
This option allows you to change the
route calculation methods from the fol-
lowing three proposals (to the right of
Shortest
the screen):
– "Shortest";
– "Fastest";
– "Most economical".
"Itinerary"
Go
In the upper part of the screen there
are three tabs ("Normal", Road list, and
"Summary") enabling you to preview the

route to your destination.

"Type of route"
This function allows you to change the
route calculation method. By choosing
a route calculation method, you also
define this route calculation method by
default for your nearby destinations.

section on "Map".
